Cardamom
Cardamom prices shot up by 1.97 per cent to Rs 994.20 per kg in futures trade today, extending yesterday's gain, as speculators engaged in enlarging their positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on strong demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in July was trading higher by Rs 19.20, or 1.97 per cent, to Rs 994.20 per kg, in a business turnover of 14 lots.
Crude palm oil
Crude palm oil prices drifted lower by 0.52 per cent to Rs 482.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid easing demand at the spot market.

Mentha oil
Mentha oil prices softened by 0.11 per cent to Rs 886 per kg in futures trading today as speculators trimmed positions amid sluggish demand from consuming industries at the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in July declined by a Re, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 886 per kg, in a business turnover of 153 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in August shed 50 paise, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 898 per kg in 15 ..
